The CSR initiatives of Amaraa Foundation are undertaken in accordance with Section 135 and Schedule VII of the Companies Act, 2013, with a focus on long-term, measurable social and environmental impact in India.
CSR Governance & Compliance
CSR Committee Oversight
All CSR activities are supervised by a dedicated CSR Committee, operating under Board authority and in full compliance with Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013.
Board Supervision
The Board reviews CSR policies, expenditure allocation, and impact assessments annually, ensuring alignment with statutory requirements and Foundation objectives.
Non-Business Benefit Declaration
All CSR activities are undertaken for public benefit without commercial consideration. No business advantage or indirect benefit accrues to the Foundation or its affiliates.
India-Only Implementation
All CSR initiatives are exclusively implemented within India, serving Indian beneficiaries in accordance with statutory requirements and Foundation mandate.
Sustainability Alignment
CSR activities align with Amaraa Foundation's broader sustainability mandate, integrating environmental stewardship, social equity, and institutional accountability.
Impact Assessment Approach
Impact measurement frameworks are applied to all material CSR programs, with third-party assessments conducted in accordance with CSR Rules for projects exceeding prescribed thresholds.
CSR Activities (Schedule VII Structured)
The following categories represent permissible CSR activities under Schedule VII of the Companies Act, 2013. Each activity is structured for long-term impact and institutional sustainability.
Eradicating Hunger, Poverty and Malnutrition
Institutional programs addressing food security, nutritional adequacy, and economic access through sustainable agricultural systems and supply chain optimization. Outcomes measured through long-term health and livelihood indicators in compliance with Schedule VII(i).
Promoting Health Care and Preventive Health
Healthcare infrastructure strengthening, preventive medicine initiatives, and public health capacity building in underserved regions. Activities structured under Schedule VII(i) with emphasis on systemic improvement and sustainable health outcomes.
Promoting Education, Including Digital and Vocational Learning
Educational access initiatives spanning foundational literacy, digital competency, and vocational skill development. Programs designed for scalability and long-term knowledge transfer in alignment with Schedule VII(ii).
Gender Equality and Women Empowerment
Structural interventions promoting women's economic participation, leadership capacity, and equitable access to resources. Implemented under Schedule VII(iii) with focus on institutional change and measurable empowerment outcomes.
Environmental Sustainability, Afforestation, Water Conservation, Climate Action

Protection of National Heritage, Art and Culture

Measures for Armed Forces Veterans and Their Dependents
